Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Dr. at Southern Blvd., will observe its 95 anniversary on Sun., Nov. 17.
      The church was founded in 1929 as a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church.
      Following the Sunday morning worship service, an anniversary dinner/presentation will be held from noon to 3:00 p.m.
      Special guests for the event include Bishop Dan Selbo, Pastor Bob Groenke, who served the church from 1972-197; and Pastor Tim Philabaum, son of Rev. Bernard Philabaum, who served as Good Hope pastor from 1968-1980.
      Current pastor is Bob Quaintance who has served the church since 1991.
