MEETING ON MONDAY NIGHT, Boardman Township Trustees Tom Costello and Larry Moliterno voted to name fellow Trustee Brad Calhoun, 61, (at left) as the township’s new fiscal officer, effective Mar. 1. Calhoun has served as a Trustee since 2010. He will be sworn into his new post on Mar. 6 and replaces longtime Fiscal Officer William Leicht, who resigned on Jan. 31. After a 33-year career teaching eighth-grade American History and serving as a student and family support coordinator, Calhoun retired from Boardman Local Schools on May 28, 2021. Following his retirement, he joined the Executive Team at the corporate offices of Phantom Fireworks.
