Baldwin-Wallace University freshman Lexi Beadle, of Boardman, will compete Mar. 7 and 8 at the 2025 national collegiate women’s wrestling championships at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, known as Wrestling Town USA.
      The championships feature some 320 female wrestlers from all three NCAA divisions.
      Beadle earned her spot in the title meet in the 131-lb. division in competition at an NCAA Div. II regional meet held at Tiffin University.
      Beadle claimed a fourth place in the regionals with a 5-2 mark that include pins over three of her opponents.
      Heading into the national title meet, Beadles has amassed a team-leading 31 wins, including 17 by pin, during the 2024-25 season and is the points leader for the BW team,
      Following are the full results of Beadle’s regional competition:
       •Won by pinfall in 1:42 over Ilani Jones-Wallace of Mount Union
       •Lost a 9-0 decision to Brianna Holcomb of Frostburg State (Md.)
       •Won by pinfall in 2:13 over Jillian Timberlake of NCAA Division II West Liberty (W. Va.)
       •Won by pinfall in 1:59 over Izzy Samczuk of Otterbein
       •Won a 14-4 technical fall over Sumayyah Kemp of John Carroll
       •Loss by pinfall in 2:08 to Ciara Riner of Trine (Ind.)
       •Won by no contest over Sumayyah Kemp of John Carroll
      Lexi is the daughter of of Jordan and Courtney Beadle.
