  Trustee Larry Moliterno Named Notable Leader In Region’s Healthcare Industry

     Longtime Boardman Township Trustee Larry Moliterno, the president and CEO at Meridian HealthCare, has been recognized as one of Crain’s Cleveland Business 2026 Notable Leaders in Healthcare.
      Moliterno is being honored for his work to help shape the future of healthcare, specifically within northeast Ohio. Moliterno’s work throughout the region’s healthcare community was highlighted.
      Meridian Healthcare has operated with Moliterno at the helm as president and CEO for over 20 years. During his tenure, Meridian Healthcare has expanded its services and innovations in comprehensive patient care.
      “It’s rewarding to be part of a team that is deeply committed to improving access to care while supporting each patient’s physical, social, and emotional needs,” Moliterno said.
  Mike Mannozzi Competes In Marathon At World Race Walking Championships In Brazil

     BRASILIA, BRAZIL---Boardman native Michael Mannozzi returned back to duty at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California last week after competing in the World Athletics World Race Walking Team Championships.
      Mannozzi raced in the marathon, finishing 49th, in 4:06:59. This is his best time internationally and second-best time ever in the event. He noted that the altitude was a hearty challenge, but his resolve was even stronger. The field for the marathon featured an Olympic champion, and multiple Olympic and World Championship Medalists competing. The race equivalent of the World Cup for soccer and gave Mannozzi his highest global ranking in the past six years.
      There were 94 starters including 54 men and 40 women. The top walkers competed at the USATF Marathon Race Walk Championships, on Jan 11 in Santee, CA. In order to qualify for the World Race Walking Team Champs, competit...Read More >>
  Work Of Administrator Jason Loree Will Have Long-Lasting Impact On The Community That He Served

      Health issues are forcing longtime Boardman Township Administrator Jason Loree to step down from his position after nearly two decades.
      Loree, 44, is currently battling autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a genetic disorder that causes cysts to form on the kidneys. The condition leads to kidney function decline over time, and it is particularly concerning as it increases the risk of aneurysms. The disease took the life of his mother in 2021.
      Loree has undergone open-heart surgery due to complications from PKD, further complicating his health situation. He is currently on an active transplant list and is preparing for dialysis and a possible transplant to address the severe impact of the disease on his health.
