Kids Town Childcare and Preschool, opened their new facility Sept. 13, at 55 Stadium Dr., in Boardman. Owner, Tricia Couche states, “We love the Boardman area and when we outgrew our location at 7398 Market St., in Boardman, where we have been for eight years, my goal was to find an additional location that was central to the community. I had a vision of a facility that would compliment the community as well as benefit the kids.” Kids Town, does just that!
      Currently the staff consists of 26, and child enrollment is approximately 105. The classrooms are brightly painted and include life size artwork adorning the walls. A large activity room is provided for indoor play when the children are unable to play outdoors.
      Kids Town offers a safe and secure environment with childcare for children from ages, 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Preschool is also offered. Note: Saturday day care is offered from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at their Market St. facility.
      An after school program is also offered, with transportation from area Boardman schools which include: Elementary; Robinwood, Market Street, Stadium Drive and Boardman Middle Schools: Glenwood and Center.
      A summer program will be offered for kids from Kindergarten to 6th grade, with plans for field trips and other activites.
