The Boardman Board of Education will hold a retirement reception in honor of retiring Boardman Local School Superintendent Tim Saxton on Wednesday, May 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boardman High School cafeteria. Saxton has been employed by the Boardman Local Schools for 22 years, including eight years as superintendent. Light refreshments will be provided. The reception is an opportunity for staff, families and community members to stop in and offer well wishes to Saxton as he closes one chapter and opens another. He leaves his office in July.
