Two persons are facing charges following an early morning shooting on Oct. 11 at 473 Oakridge Dr.
      Edwin Garcia, 26, of 715 Palmer Ave., Youngstown, Oh., has been charged with felonious assault.
      Nathan Fair, 41, of 803 South Raccoon Rd., Austintown, Oh., has been charged with menacing by stalking and criminal damaging.
      Fair told police he “half drove” to the home of his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Ashton, 43, of 473 Oakridge Dr., parking his father’s SUV in a nearby lot of an apartment complex and then walking to Ashton’s home.
      Once there he and Ashton had an argument over breaking-up, Ptl. Earl Neff was told.
      Fair said the suspect who is alleged to have shot him was present during the argument between himself and Ashton, and when he turned to walk away, he was shot in the right leg.
      Fair also sustained a large wound on his face and two black eyes that he claimed happened when he was “pistol-whipped” before police arrived at the scene.
      While conducting their investigation, police learned a wire to a security camera for the Oakridge Dr. home had been cut. When asked about cutting a wire to a security camera, Fair responded, “I think I did that.
      “I was at an ex-girlfriend’s house. She’s been playing me and him...I didn’t say nothing to him, he pulled the gun on me.”
      Asked if he cared about being charged in the incident, Fair replied “It’s only misdemeanors.”
