Boardman Park’s annual summer Music in the Park concerts at the Maag Outdoor Arts Theater will open Thurs., June 12 at 6:30 p.m. The concert series will be held every Thursday through Aug. 21, and also includes special events set in July and August.
      Returning to the Maag on Wed., July 2 will be the U.S. Army Field Band.
      On Sat., July 12, the park will stage a Mid-Summer Bash featuring music by Tranwreck and followed by a fireworks show. Annually more than 5,000 people show up at this event.
      On Sun., July 27, the Youngstown Area Concert Band will take to the stage at 4:00 p.m.
      A ‘Family Night’concert will be held on Sat., Aug, 9 at 6:30 p.m. featuring Dueling Pianos.
