Mahoning County Public Health received 2025 Ohio EPA Mosquito Control Grant Funding for mosquito control measures. One of those measures includes spraying for adult mosquito control. Spraying will help reduce the population of mosquitos and help prevent the spread of mosquito borne diseases such as West Nile Virus.
      Adult Mosquito Control will occur on May 22, June 26, and July 24 in Boardman Park, as well as Mill Creek Park, Poland Township Park, Poland Village Park, Canfield Village Park and Woodworth Park
      Spraying will be performed between dusk and dawn and if rainy or windy conditions are present, then spraying will be postponed.
