       BOARDMAN TENNIS AND SWIM CLUB tanker Matt Guarnieri, pictured, claimed first place in the backstroke in the 13-14 age division last week in a meet with crosstown rival Applewood. Guarnieri posted a time of 31.35 seconds in the 50 yard event to edge second place Ben Papa, of Applewood, by a tenth of a second. The Wood won the duel meet, 329-171.
