Boardman High School’s volleyball team ended regular season play with a come-from-behind win over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, taking the tie-breaker 15-13, to cap play with a 17-5 log (6-2 in the All American Conference.
      The Lady Spartans move into tourney play this week at home against Hathaway Brown.
      In the win over CVCA, Maya Flores and Mazie Kauffman set the pace.
      Flores had 16 kills, 3 blocks and 6 digs while Kauffman had 9 kills, a block and 9 digs.
      Also contributing for the winners were Ava Gaps with 7 kills, 4 blocks and 2 digs; Lily Ison with 4 kills and 4 blocks; Addie Rudge with a pair of kills and Natalie Ludban who had 1 kill and 1 block. Emma Terlesky had 6 digs and 19 assists, Gianna Commons had 8 digs and 18 assists. Sadie Satterfield had 13 digs.
